The Wall

The rear wall of Colonial Park Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia displays numerous grave markers. Some of the markers were moved to this wall because they were in the way of paths to be cleared during the 1890s' improvement of the park; many more of the headstones were either broken or uprooted due to vandalism and were moved to the wall as a means of keeping them in the park.
